Octi ("Octi", "we", "us") is operated by Truemium OÜ (Tallinn, Estonia). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We built Octi to be a private place for the things you save — we do not sell your data.

Information we collect

• Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a stable identifier and, if you allow it, your name — used to create your account.
• Content you save. Links, posts, screenshots, and notes you share to Octi, plus the metadata we retrieve for them (title, author, thumbnail).
• AI analysis. The summaries, categories, and tags Octi generates from your saved content to make it searchable and resurfaceable.
• Device & usage. A device token for push notifications, app version, language, and basic diagnostic events to keep Octi working.

How we use it

• To understand, categorize, search, and resurface the content you save.
• To send the reminders and nudges you enable.
• To operate your subscription and prevent abuse.

Service providers

We share the minimum necessary with providers that process data on our behalf: LLM providers (to analyze saved content), Apple and Google (sign-in, push), RevenueCat (subscription management), and AWS (hosting and delivery). They are bound to use it only to provide these services.

Retention & your rights

We keep your content until you delete it or close your account. From inside the app you can export everything you've saved and delete your account and its data at any time. You may also contact us to exercise your rights under applicable law (including the GDPR).

Children

Octi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security & changes

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
